South Korea, Macedonia draw in friendly |

SKOPJE, Macedonia, April 18, 98 (AP)
World Cup-bound South Korea and non-qualifier Macedonia drew 2-2 in an exhibition game Saturday.
Before more than 7,000 spectators, Jang Hyung-seok opened the scoring in the 24th minute after an excellent pass in the 16-meter area from Kim Do-keun.
Macedonia's first equalizer came in the second half, when Djordji Hristov scored in the 55th minute.
Choi Yong-soo gave the visitors another lead in the 85th minute, while the hosts equalized again by second-half substitute Igor Djuzelov in the 88th minute.
The Koreans were better in the first half, although the home team had more chances throughout the game and dominated the second half. The weather was warm and sunny.
South Korea, which plays the Netherlands, Belgium and Mexico in Group E in the
preliminary round of this summer's World Cup in France, is on a European tour. It had a disappointing 0-0 draw against non-qualifier Slovakia Wednesday.
